My name is Cassy and I'm a video editor and drone pilot from Rochester, NY currently living in Pittsburgh, PA. A UConn grad I have a passion for video editing and sports. Being able to bridge the gap between players and fan with creative videos is a dream come true. It's been an amazing journey to see my work used for the Rochester Americans (AHL), Rochester Knighthawks (NLL), Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) social channels. Below is some of my favorite work I have done for different organizations. Enjoy!

Past Work

Video Producer - Digital

Living a dream to work in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins, I was a video producer for the digital/social media team. Editing a spectrum of videos, from player and game highlights, behind-the-scenes content, paid ads, and motion graphics. Collaborated with partner and sponsorship teams, I managed the conception, execution, and delivery of video projects to meet expectations and fulfill agreements. Covering all 82 regular season games, I monitored the live broadcast, clipped goals, and other important moments, helping paint a picture of the game of socials. On occasion I traveled with the team to gather road content to give no gap in team coverage. A few specific projects are the Kris Letang - Bill Masterton Award Winner, All-Star Fan Vote, Goal GIFs, player mini-mics, and more. Please enjoy some of my favorite projects below.

Multimedia Specialist

Working for my home town teams, the Rochester Americans (AHL) and Knighthawks (NLL), I was a multimedia specialist who created videos for both teams, working closely with the teams multimedia journalist to produce all encompassing content about the Amerks and Knighthawks.. I handled the daily filming, editing and posting of both teams media scrums. Also producing multiple series, Setting the Standard, Coffee With Coach, quick hits, and more. During games, I was capturing game play, cheering fans, and behind the scenes footage. Please enjoy some of my work below.

Video Editor

Women's Hockey Life is a company that helps young women navigate the path to college hockey. As part of their business, they posted relevant social content to help share tips and tricks of navigating the NCAA recruiting process. My job was to edit a series of motivational video, messages from former players, and a mini-documentary following one players path to play division I hockey. Enjoy!
